Women’s Health

Hillary Clinton put it best at the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in 1995:

“Human rights are women's rights, and women's rights are human rights.”

The right to accurate information. The right to safe medical care. The right to having a voice. The right to a seat at every table. The right to feel safe. The right to own our own bodies. The right to be paid. The right to education. The right to live free from discrimination.

I’m extremely passionate about furthering all efforts which advocate for women’s rights and equality. Some of the projects below may also live within other categories on my website, but I felt it important to highlight female-centric projects.

Let’s get comfortable talking about women’s health. Here are some illustrations created for various SELF Magazine articles that centered around female birth control and breast health. They are published both on SELF.com and on SELF’s Snapchat Discover channel.

Sex education in schools can be dismal, and often inaccurate. Below are slides I designed and animated for a Teen Vogue Snapchat Discover edition, which aimed to provide our audience with accurate information about birth control.

Everyone’s nipples are different. SELF Magazine wants you to know that’s OK.
I illustrated and animated a video for SELF Magazine which is published on SELF.com and SELF’s Facebook channel, as well as syndicated across Huffington Post and Allure.
